Specializing and Channeling Creative Energy to Do What You Love and Love What You Do

Each day the Sun rises we are renewed with creative energy. As this energy is renewed in us, it must be distributed through us so that we can inspire others to inspire others.  This distribution of creative energy is then specialized according to our gifts and talents.  The Distribution process itself is called channeling creative energy.  When creative energy is specialized, channeled, and distributed through us, we become the wealth and success we desire.

Many people, including those of us on the path of enlightenment, can be somewhat dismayed or confused about what “the specialization or channeling of creative energy” is.  We can specialize and channel creative energy through our gifts and talents.  For example, I have fine tuned my gift of foresight and insight.  Creative energy has been fine tuned through my gift of writing, public speaking and performance arts.  Creative Energy has also been fine tuned through my talent for using the abstract to express something concrete or taking the unseen forces of spirit and giving them creative form.   The same is true for many on the path of enlightenment and those of us who choose to co-create our reality with Our Most High Creator.

When we choose to specialize and channel creative energy through our gifts and talents we will find it important to do what we love, but also to love what we do.  I know many of you have heard it for years, “do what you love and the money will follow.”  Yeah, I use to think the same thing some of you are thinking right now:  “How is that possible? What if what you love isn’t what’s hot right now?  You have to earn a living somehow?”

You can attract wealth by doing what you love because by doing what you love you are increasing your vibration to match that of wealth and well-being—this attracts money.

And the funny thing is as one grows in spiritual and personal development, one discovers or rediscovers that those who follow their true desires and let The Creative Spirit move them are doing what they love and because they are doing what they love they are increasing their vibration.

Yes, when you do what you love you increase your vibration and you are in harmony with the well-being of the Universe.  When you are in harmony with the well-being of the universe, you will attract the wealth and success in your life.

However, if you want Charisma—the ultimate magnetism, if you want to be great in your field of work, then you must “love what you do.”  That’s right, put love in what you do.  Often times, when I think about a person who puts love in what they do, I am reminded of  Dr. a Benjamin Carson, most noted for making medical history when he conducted an operation to separate a pair of Siamese twins who were joined at the back of the head. Dr. Carson’s most famous quote is

“Our Creator has endowed all of us not just with the ability to sing, dance or throw a ball, but with intellectual talent. Start getting in touch with that part of you that is intellectual and develop that, and think of careers that will allow you to use that.”

The way in which Dr. Carson describes his work is inspiring.  Yes, a doctor can be inspiring too.  In fact, I once knew a house painter who described his work so passionately, I was inspired to write a poem about him.

Putting love in what we do by loving what we do makes us more effective.  Our work becomes the Gold Standard in what we do.  So what are some ways by which we can do what we love and love what we do?  Here are some tips to set you on your marks…

First, explore various ways to express yourself by joining various groups and organizations.  Some people, even those of us on the path of enlightenment do not know what our gifts and talents are.  We can explore them by joining various organizations.  If we think we possibly have a gift for public speaking, then join your local Toastmasters.  If we have a gift for singing, then join a local choir.  If we have a gift for building things, then take an industrial arts class at your local university.  There are many ways in which we can explore ways to express ourselves and discover dormant gifts and talents.

Second, if we know what our gifts and talents are then we should find ways to “fine tune” our gifts and talents.  See our gifts and talents as instruments which get better with time and use.  A person, who has a gift for building things such as furniture, should make some furniture for his own personal use.  Invite friends and family over for a dinner party and make your work a conversational piece. If a person has a gift or talent in physical fitness, there are many opportunities to make small viral videos and share them on the net.  The key is to use your gifts and talents daily.  You will discover that through time and use, your gifts and talents will become “fine tuned” instruments.

Third, make sure you stay present moment aware or aware in the presence as you exercise your gifts and talents.  Love is always in the present moment or in the presence.  Love is always in the present moment because to be in the present moment is to be in the presence of God and God is love.  If we are in the present moment then love and care goes into everything we do.  The process is beautiful and well intended.  Furthermore, the means justifies the end—yes that’s right—the means justifies the end.  If we take care to do things with love and care in the presence then our results will be the best results ever.

Fourth, celebrate your accomplishments as you “fine tune” your gifts and talents.  Some of us on the path of enlightenment forget to celebrate our accomplishments in a big way.  I know I have often accomplished a many things and just shrugged my shoulders and moved on “no big deal right.”  However, when we do what we love and accomplish even a small milestone in it, we should celebrate it.  I had a friend who completed her certification as a Reiki Master.  She studied Reiki for 3 years and completed all her certifications in this wonderful healing modality.  After completing her certification, she when to her local paper and purchased ad space that she turned into a full page article celebrating her accomplishment.  While this may sound vain to some, those of us who truly understand our purpose here on this earth plane will find it quite beautiful.  Celebrating our accomplishments is a way of celebrating life as it is expressed through us.

Fifth, take your gifts and talents a step farther by developing a product or service which displays your gifts and talents.  Market this product or service to create an avenue for the energy of money to flow.  Now, this is what unnerves some folk on the path of enlightenment.  Either we try to “get paid” for everything we do or we think we don’t really know the value of our own gifts and talents.  It’s okay to be compensated for your work.  Compensation is just.  There was a woman in New Orleans I knew who made Raw food snacks using her 4 tray dehydrator in her home.  She sold the snacks at local farmer’s markets and at a local movie theatre.  Did it make her a millionaire? Not so much but she enjoyed an extra income and the love and joy she put into her products made her a local celebrity.  People would come to Prytania Movie Theater early just to get a couple of her raw food cookies before they were sold out.

When you practice the above 5 steps, you will find that you can specialize your creative energy each and everyday.  Furthermore you will discover ways in which you can do what you love and love what you do.

Doing what you love and loving what you do is all about expression and love.  It is about using your creative energy to its fullest, thus living for the fuller expression of life through you.  You have yet to discover all you are capable of accomplishing in this life.  To reach that place within you, you have to let go (let go of the ego) and Let God. That’s right; you have to reach that unlimited part of you which operates totally and completely in unconditional love.  Friends, love what you do and do what you love.

Until next time, remember to…Live well. Live Wise. Live wealthy. And let The Creative Spirit move you.
