Okay, my girlfriends and I got together last night it was ladies night, I had a speaking engagement to prepare for and I needed to unwind. We got together over some Kombuchas (I guess that is the plural form of this fermented tea), raw nut cheese, and flax seed crackers. Yes, we raw foodies can do it classy too!
Anyway, two of my girlfriends are married and 3 are not. We got on the subject of Soul mates and as usually, they bombard Roslyn and I with all these questions. They usually expect us to have all the answers. We don’t but we give insight to what we know from a spiritual standpoint.
The question was: Are men searching for their soul mate as hard as women? I had to be honest and say exactly what I am about to share with you all now—most men would agree. The answer is….
It depends. It depends on what his focus is. Most men, and I say most because I can’t speak for all, begin the Soul mate search when they are comfortable with where they are professionally. If they like where they are professionally and feel comfortable about what they are earning, many men like the idea of having someone who loves them and understands them to come home to.
However, if they are still climbing the career ladder or attempting to start a business, many men feel like they should get things going in their careers first.
Now are there women who feel the same way? Absolutely. On the other hand, women are more pressured by society to get married before a certain age. As a result, many of us feel as if we should choose, relationship or career, love or profession, motherhood or business owner. And still, there are many women who want to do all at once, career, marriage, baby…to make sure we don’t regret anything or miss out on anything, “especially before we get too old.”
The reality is this, when we choose to co-create our life, we can have it all. We can have all our desires fulfilled. We just have to focus on our true desires and let life unfold naturally with out fear or regret. If you make yourself available—truly available for the best relationship—an empowering relationship built on love and spiritual growth, you don’t have to worry if you will ever find your soul mate. You will. And it won’t be a struggle.
Man or woman, your soul mate is someone who is your partner on the path of enlightenment. Men desire to be with their soul mate just as much as women do. It is the societal and ageism pressures that women feel when it comes to finding their soul mate.
And to make things very clear here, we shouldn’t spend day and night searching for our soul mate. We should simply know the qualities we want in a partner and be available for sharing our lives with someone else.
So how do you become attractive for your Soul mate? Yes, the Law of Attraction applies here too. Here are some key points to get you on track:
