More on Numerology and the Number 9

Often times, numerology is reduced to what many have reduced astrology to…relationship compatibility and personality traits.  For those of us on the path of enlightenment, we know that it is our purpose to transcend personality traits and not use them as excuses in our spiritual evolution.  I truly want to take a more metaphysical perspective when exploring the numerology of the number nine. 

To that end, I will not discuss personality traits concerning the numerology and the number nine, but rather I will discuss the energy number 9 carries and represents.  In this matter, one can apply it as need be. 

A few days ago I had written the article The Numerological Representation of 09.09.09 to post at Blue Lotus Living today.  I wanted people to celebrate today and not just look for the magic in today but everyday.  Yes, 09.09.09 is something special.  Today’s date is absolutely special but so is everyday.  However, while writing the article I dug deep into what the number 9 really represents, and I am very amazed at what I have learned is what I already knew about the number.

The wonderful and spiritual aspect of the number nine is it is the “complete” number in numerology. 

The number 9 represents harmony and completion working together to produce a thing, like in pregnancy. Nine is represents that which is long-lasting.  This includes the energy of patience, endurance, forgiveness, and unconditional love.

Similar to the number 3 and 7 (seven), the number 9 (nine) is a spiritual number. It’s firmly related to foresight, intuitiveness, inspiration, and profound wisdom. Nine can appear to be a luck number, but it is an evidentiary number, it gives proof that something is being born, but it must mature to see the full benefits.
