The Courage to be Your True and Authentic Self

How can we ever awaken the visionary within if we are afraid to be our true and authentic self?  If we truly want to see our dreams manifest in our reality, we have to have the courage to be our true and authentic self. 

Without living life as our true and authentic self, we find it difficult to focus on our vision.   And what is a visionary without a vision?

It is difficult to focus in on our vision of purpose in life without being our true and authentic self because without this authenticity our vision is not clear to us.  In fact, our vision seems like a foggy dream. 

Our visions seem like a foggy dream because we are unable to properly direct our creative energy.  If we are unable to properly direct our creative energy with deliberate intent for the advancement of our vision of purpose in life, it often times feel as if we have fallen off course.  As such, our vision of purpose in life feels like a fantasy or just another unreachable goal. 

As artists, this can be particularly disconcerting.  It is disconcerting because it disrupts our conscious creativity.  Artists must be awake.  

 Unfortunately, for this very reason, many artists find that they have lost their voice have put their gifts, talents, and work in the hands of others who don’t share their vision.  Thus, rendering them powerless—so it seems. Yet as we grow in enlightenment, we discover our true and authentic self can hear the voice of our soul.  It is the voice of our soul which can articulate our true desires so that we can consciously understand what we really want to create in our reality. 

This is also true for our art as artists.  It is the voice of the soul which understands and can connect with the Creative Spirit in such a way that our creative energy is properly directed and our work becomes what we desire it to become.

Our art and creative work, no matter how gritty, is infused with love and joy.  And that love and joy inspires other to be an inspiration.  Yes, when you have the courage to be your true and authentic self, as an artist, your work will move others.  You will be able to connect with those of like spirit and draw them into your vision.

Yes, we all have the power to be visionaries, but in order to be that visionary, that connection with the Creative Spirit is crucial.  To be able to connect with the Creative Spirit we must truly focus in on our true and authentic self and have the courage to be who we really are.

It is true, when you focus on the real you, you will manifest your dreams.  That bravery and courage to be the real you begins with the power of self love.  If you can’t celebrate who you really are, no one else will.
