Love, Pain, Soothers, and Overcoming the Addiction to Drama

Written on March 2nd, 2010 by Carmellita_Brownno shouts
no more drama we must overcome the addiction to drama for true personal development

Are You Sick of the Drama?

Addictions are so dangerous because often times we give over a lot of our life-force energy to our addictions.  In the systems and programs of the Matrix, there are many addictions available, but the addiction to drama is often the most over looked because sometimes our addiction to drama can look and feel like love.

So, has love changed in modern times?  The answer is certainly not.  Modern love is the same as all love through out history.  In this day in age, we want the same things from love relationships that we wanted years ago even if it wasn’t articulated.

In loving relationships we want to be accepted for our true and authentic self, we want someone who understands us, and we want someone we can share our lives with.  This is true about love rather it is friendship love, family love, community love, or romantic love.  However, in this day and age, there is one thing we must get passed and that’s the addiction to drama.

I really hate to use the word drama, because true drama is an art form and artistic expression (Dramatic Arts); but, in this case we use drama to identify the addiction many people have to heightened states of emotional trauma. So please do not confuse “drama” with the Dramatic Arts.

For a long period of time in the field of personal development, many philosophers taught that if we associate enough pain with a habit, practice, or addiction, then eventually we will break the habit or addiction.  Unfortunately, modernism has met with this modality and has created what I call “soothers” to help us get pass the pain, thus staying in the pain much longer.  Moreover, in many cases the soothers themselves can make the pain of the addiction feel good.

pledge no more drama in your relationships

Who Will Finally say, "No More Drama?"

Let’s take the subject of drama.  A woman who attended some of my group sessions a while back in New Orleans told me about the relationship she had with her fiancé of five years.  She told me he was emotionally and verbally abusive.  She stayed in the relationship because he was a “good man.”  In her eyes, he helped to pay the bills, he went with her to her doctors appointments, and he helped her with their children from time to time.

She said he was only verbally abusive when he had a hard day at work or when the finances seemed to be “strained.”  After being engaged for five years, she gained quite a bit of weight and much of the weight came about because she used comfort food, fast food, and junk food as a “soother.”   Within five years she had gain 80 pounds and also had high blood pressure.

His soother, however, was his Xbox, ESPN on a 52 inch television, a six pack of beer a day, and having his friends over every Sunday.  Both of them had the wonderful distraction of jobs they hated which took up a 60-hour week and a bunch of unnecessary bills (the $129 per month 52 inch flat screen was just one of them) they collected which required extra hours of work.

She had been able to prolong the relationships because their soothers kept them distracted and kept them from dealing with each other and  dealing with their problems.  Once she became involved in her own self-worth, spiritual evolution, personal development, and health, she began to eat more raw and living foods.  She practiced yoga.  She spent time in meditation.  She cut back some hours at work and her soothers were gone.  After her soothers were gone, she ended the relationship.

When she ended the relationship, it was the first time she had ever been without a man for more than a few months.  She took two years to commit to herself and her daughters.  After two years of what she called her “sobriety,”  she met a wonderful man about 4 years her senior.  They dated for a year and were married after a six-month engagement.  They are still married now even after they lost their home during Hurricane Katrina.  They have recently bought a new home in Houston, Texas (yes, even in this economy).

Until we get rid of or lessen our dependency on the soothers in our lives, we will continue to play out the dramas of our dysfunctional relationships.  With soothers distracting us from the truth and from the pain, we find ourselves taking much longer to hit rock bottom and sometimes even when we hit rock bottom we have used our soothers to cushion the fall.

Today, with modern conveniences we have found it difficult to know if we are in love or in drama and dysfunction.  With our soothers distracting us, no, we often don’t know the difference. And if we can not acknowledge the existence of pain and suffering and dysfunction in a situation, it takes much longer to hit rock bottom.  And the longer it takes to hit rock bottom, the longer it takes to heal.

To this end, it is apparent that either we lessen or get rid of our soothers in order to face what we have attracted in our lives, or we not only do we prolong suffering but we become addicted to the drama we have manifested in our lives.  And this addiction will always hinder our spiritual and personal growth on the path of enlightenment.  It hinders our growth because it robs us of the life-force energy and mind power required to co-create our lives as we truly desire our life to be.

In fact, the addiction to drama can be downright deceptive we don’t get rid of or release our dependency on the soothers in our lives.  For example, sometimes we find that what we are think we are addicted to (toxic food, drugs, alcohol, sex) isn’t really the addiction.  Once we probe our lives and get rid of the soothers (toxic food, drugs, alcohol, sex), then we realize that it is the drama behind the addiction we are really addicted to.

A friend of mine told me about a cousin of his who was a prominent business man in New Orleans.  This prominent business man was what we call a womanizer.  He told many of his friends that he was addicted to good scotch, women, and sex.  Well, eventually these women ran interference in his life and he ended up in a big sex scandal surrounding the Canal Street Brothel in New Orleans.  It was in all the papers and many national news channels.  There was his name and his face and his business attached to the biggest sex scandal New Orleans had seen in while (and for New Orleans, that’s saying a lot!).  The man was devastated and so was his business.

After a few years of lying low, he left the line of business he was once in because he had lost the trust of his clientele.  In 2007, he started a new company doing what he loved and now he’s a suburban dad coaching his son’s little league baseball team.

My friend said his cousin seemed so content now.  He said his cousin told him, he had to “hit rock bottom” before he realized what the real problem was.  The real problem was that he was unhappy.  He was in that particular line of business because he made a lot of money, but it didn’t leave him much time for anything else.  So, instead of the wife and family he really wanted, he convinced himself he wanted the women, fast cars, sex, and alcohol.

It took a scandal to destroy his business before he overcame his addiction to drama.  My friend said his cousin hit rock bottom when all of the women who were once beating his door down stopped calling and wouldn’t even acknowledge him in public.  He really discovered who cared about him and who his real friends were.

Why put ourselves through the trauma of drama over and over again when all we are doing is destroying our hope, faith, and confidence in our true and authentic self.  Not only that, but we are also destroying our perception of our true self worth.

And just how do we overcome he addiction to drama?

(1)    We have to acknowledge the dysfunction in our lives and not treat it as if it is “normal” or okay.

(2)    Get rid of our soothers through detoxification and treatment if necessary.

(3)    Get in some “self” time through meditation and prayer.

(4)    Face the pain of the situation we have attracted in our lives and build our spiritual strength through self-empowerment.

(5)    Practice present moment awareness and proclaim what you really want in your life.

(6)    Stop settling for an artificial version of your true desires. Acknowledge how you want to live your life and do not settle for a fake version of it.  The fake version is only an illusion of the ego.

(7)    Use your “creativity” for something other than creating avenues of pain and suffering.

Despite what we have been told, we can overcome drama.  We don’t have to live our lives in a tornado of drama, trauma, and dysfunction.  If we want to live in abundance and increase our self worth, we have to pledge…NO MORE DRAMA.

Until next time, remember to give up the drama, live well, live wise, live wealthy, and let the Creative Spirit move you.

Your Creative Power Allows You to Attract Empowering and Fulfilling Relationships

Written on January 23rd, 2010 by Carmellita_Brownno shouts
creative power to attract fulfilling relationships, love and devotion

Create More Love!

You can only use the true essence of your creative power when you are living as your true and authentic self.  As you live in truth and authenticity of who you really are, your creative power allows you to attract, build, and maintain empowering and fulfilling relationships.

With this truth, one can easily realize that there are no limits to what you can create in your life when you develop the Visionary’s Insight.  It is the Visionary’s Insight which sees beyond the dysfunctions of the Matrix and its programs and knows that when consciousness flows, creative power grows, and when creative power flows we are able to build the charisma and magnetism required to attract functional, empowering, and fulfilling relationships.

The programs and systems of the Matrix have miseducated us on the purpose of relationships.  Relationships are meant to empower the Soul and fulfill our lives.  Volatile and turbulent relationships marked by unnecessary drama leave us with traumatic emotional scars.  And these scars will require more of our life-force energy in order to heal.

Many among us have wasted a lot of life-force energy trying to heal from turbulent, stressful, and volatile relationships we have attracted and held on to in our lives.  Don’t waste your life-force energy and creative power on turbulent and toxic relationships.  You can attract and manifest empowering and fulfilling relationships that don’t zap your creative power but add to your creative energy through the power of inspiration and unconditional love.

An empowering and fulfilling relationship can be a powerful source of inspiration in our lives.  This inspiration can move us creatively as we live our lives because with this inspiration comes the fuel of unconditional love—love that is not weighed down by the conditions, fetters, and illusions of the ego.

When we get a taste of a fulfilling relationship, we know what it can do for our Soul. The sweetness of its nectar is nourishing to our hearts.  It does not confuse us and leave us scarred and dismayed, but rather it is good to the Soul and it allows the Creative Spirit to move us.

The Visionary’s Insight can see beyond the Matrix and knows how to function in, build, and grow fulfilling relationships.  The vibrational frequency of unconditional love and devotion flows from our creative power and nurtures our lives.

The ego will settle for co-dependent relationships, but the true and authentic self desires relationships that are built on love and devotion.  The true and authentic self doesn’t want to hide behind things but it wants to express who you really are to those in your life.

Too many people have developed co-dependent relationships. But when we use our creative power to attract and build empowering and fulfilling relationship, we can stand as one as well as be one in our relationships.  Oneness and devotion no longer frightens us, but we look forward to it because we know that Oneness is the way of the ALL-mighty which lives in and through us all.  In an empowering and fulfilling relationship built by creative power we can see the God in others and those in or lives can see the God in us.

Silence, Meditation, and Your Infinite Creative Potential

Written on January 23rd, 2010 by Carmellita_Brownno shouts
the art of silence, the art of meditation, and creative potential

Meditate to Create!

We create in silence and meditation and we stir the energies for the manifestation process.  It is hard for some people to practice the art of silence and meditation, but silence and meditation is essential for the use of our infinite creative potential.

In our society, many have become addicted to emotional and mental turbulence.  We feel like we really have a life when things are loud and turbulent.  Unfortunately, silence has become equated with boredom.  And for this very reason, we have more stressed-out people in the world than ever before.

The truth is, we may not be as stressed as we think. In fact, we just may need a little silence.

And silence is what we can get when we unplug from the useless systems and programs of the Matrix.  When we unplug from the programs and systems of the Matrix and its counterproductive effect on our ability to create the life we want to live, we find that we can activate our infinite creative potential and transform it into infinite creative energy.  This is accomplished through the practice of silence and meditation.

Silence and meditation allows us to cleanse the subconscious debris of counterproductive thoughts and thought forms.  Like a mental detoxification, we are then “empty to be refilled.”   We are liberated.

As we empty our minds, we can reload and restore productive mental imagery which works with pure consciousness in the creation and manifestation process.  Productive mental imagery then activates our infinite creative potential and turns it into creative energy.  When this creative energy is used, it becomes creative power which has the volition to manifest our most focused intentions.

Silence and meditation also activates our infinite creative potential for creative energy because the yoke of resistance are broken and energy (creative energy) always follows the path of least resistance. This is why it is important to “purpose” your intentions.  Purpose intentions are not weighed down and held back by resistance.

And how can we undoubtedly know we are resisting.  Stress is the signal.  Stress and turbulence is always the signal of resistance.  Our infinite creative energy cannot flow and become power where there is resistance.  Silence and meditation make us aware of what and where the resistance is and through our Oracle Within, we discover what inspired action to take to unblock the flow.

All to often we are told we need to add something to ourselves in order to become our true and authentic self.  However, those of us who have grown on the path of enlightenment have discovered that it is nothing we need to add to ourselves but what we need unload to make room to reload and restore what we’ve already had.

Silence and meditation is not only detoxifying but it is replenishing.  What we replenish  and restore is the infinite creative power we require to create the life we desire to live.

Fitness Guru Jack Lalanne Celebrates 95 Years of Life

Written on September 30th, 2009 by Carmellita_Brownno shouts
WASHINGTON - MAY 03: Fitness legend Jack LaLa...
Image by Getty Images Jack Lalanne (center)

Jack Lalanne the Fitness Guru turns 95 years of age today.  About a month ago, my grandfather, Allen Brown Sr. of Delhi, Louisiana turned 89.  I sit and pondered today what he and my grandfather had in common which blessed them with long life.

Let’s explore.  Jack Lalanne eats organic.  My grandfather had his own garden he tended for years and ate organic until recent years.  Jack Lalanne exercises and swims.  My grandfather exercises daily with walks.  Before he retired, he worked outdoors most of his life as a farmer and sharecropper.

Jack Lalanne has maintained and continues to maintain a good marriage to the same woman for many years.  My grandfather had a wonderful marriage to my grandmother for 53 years until she passed some years ago.

Jack Lalanne loves to sing and so does my Grandfather.  In fact, my grandfather had a singing group with his sons for many years called “The Soul Guiders.”  The group has all new members now, but my grandfather was one of the founding members of the group.

Jack Lalanne seems to have a good attitude about life.  My grandfather has a good attitude about life.  My grandfather believes that you should “aim for the best and you’ll get the best in life.”

So, what have I learned from Jack Lalanne and my grandfather Allen Brown.

(1)   Eat health organic foods (for me that would be raw organic fruits and vegetables by following a raw food diet).

(2)   Exercise daily and make it a part of my lifestyle.

(3)   Maintain a positive and productive mental attitude.

(4)   Have a song in your heart.

(5)   Show Devotion to my loved ones.

(6)   Love unconditionally.

We always think it’s the right supplement or the right procedure or the right vitamin but it is the productive, positive, and loving life you choose to lead which promotes long life.  So, here at Blue Lotus Living, we would like to say Happy Birthday to Jack Lalanne.

Have Gratitude in the Face of Traumatic Change and Life Transitions

Written on September 25th, 2009 by Carmellita_Brown2 shouts

At some point in our lives, we all face trauma and tragic life situations which require that we have to transition from one way of living to another.  It takes courage to make life transitions and to face traumatic change with your whole self intact.  However, an attitude of gratitude will get you there.  Gratitude is an attitude which welcomes the beauty and luminosity of life in spite of traumatic change and life transitions.

Just last year, a friend of mine in told me about a moment she witnessed first hand which change which she often thinks about when she feels down or hurt, or even agry…

(Based on True Events)

A 57 year old woman had been through some terrible life tragedies and situations which left her distraught and angry.  She didn’t want to grow old and bitter so she decided to join a therapy group which helped with life transitions and how to deal with traumatic change in your life.

At her first group therapy, she saw women of all ages sitting with frowns on their faces.  Some squirmed in their chairs looking uncomfortable, in fact, to the woman, some of them seemed ashamed for being there.  The woman thought to herself, “These ungrateful women, if they had been through what I’ve been through, then they would really have something to feel uncomfortable about.”

The meeting began and each woman spoke about her traumatic experiences and what life transitions they needed help adjusting to. Some of the stories the woman heard were “mild” in her opinion.  Some of the women were overlooked for promotions, had just had babies and felt unattractive, some had gained weight, and some said their sex lives were on the rocks in their marriages.

When it was her turn to tell about the traumatic change in her life, the woman knew the other women would be shocked and more grateful for their situations. She took a deep breath almost feeling proud, “My husband left me for a younger woman, he hired the best attorneys money could buy and kicked me out of my home, and is now living in the home I had with him for 25 years with a new wife and a new baby.  I have not heard from my son in over a year and my daughter has moved far away and I rarely hear from her.  Two months after my divorce was final, I lost my job with a company I had been with for almost 20 years.  My severance package was a total of $3,200, most of my retirement money was lost after the Enron fiasco, and now at 57 years old, I have to go back out into the job market.   The one home I did get in the divorce settlement, I will have to sell it, downsize significantly and hope that very soon I can find a new job.”

She exhaled and took another deep breath; the women around her looked shocked.  “Now,” she thought, “that’s trauma.”  Soon the therapist asked a young lady sitting in the corner quietly if she wanted to speak today and tell the group about your life transition or the tragedy she wanted to overcome.

The woman looked at her and thought, “What could be her problem? She’s only about 20 at the most.”  She stared at the girl who seemed to be smiling and tilting her head bashfully.

The girl stood up. “I am 19 years.  Two years ago I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer.  The cancer was treated and I received a clean bill of health.  However, two months ago, I was told the cancer has returned in other areas of my body and that it is spreading rapidly.  I was given 6 months to live.  I am not here to transition to death, but I am here because I want to transition to life. I want to continue to be glad for each day.  And really,  I want to live. As a matter of fact, right now, I choose to live,” She sat down.

The 57-year old woman looked over at the girl.  The girl was younger than her son.  And in that moment, the woman felt a sense of gratitude, then shame, and then gratitude again.  She thought about all the life she had lived since she was 19 and all the life this girl may never experience such as having children, getting married, lighting a candle at her daughter’s wedding, or getting her college degree.

The woman thought about how easy her own situation was to transform.  She could call her son everyday until he picked up the phone.  She could visit her daughter and grandchildren.  She could find another job eventually.  She could find a small condo in the city.  She could forgive her ex-husband and find love again with someone who would appreciate her.

Her problems had not been diagnosed terminal and she had gone days and days not wanting to live.  Yet, here was a young vibrant beautiful girl who had been diagnosed terminal and she wanted to live.

In that moment, the woman realized she wanted to live.  She had grandchildren to spoil and places she wanted to see.  She looked around the room and realized that the young girl had spoken everything that each woman had truly wanted in their heart of hearts.  They all wanted to live.

She understood there wasn’t much life in bitterness.  And what is wonder of living if it is without gratitude for each given moment in spite of traumatic experiences, life transitions, hurt, pain…Like her new 19 year old heroine; she too, had to be glad for every moment.  She too, had chosen to live.

10 Tips on How to Wake Up Early and Be an Early Riser With Motivation and Inspiration

Written on September 16th, 2009 by Carmellita_Brownno shouts

 Wake up!

I talked to my younger sister today and she reminded me how much I used to hate getting up early in the mornings.  While in high school, every weekend I would be the last person to get up, even on Church Sundays.

She was quite shocked to discover that I am now an early riser.  She wanted to know what did I do to “train” myself on how to wake up early everyday no matter what.

I figured if she had that question, perhaps other people in the Blue Lotus Living family had the same question.  So, here I will share some tips that will help you wake up early and become an early riser.

  1. Wake up to pray, meditate, and set your powerful intentions for the day.  Not only will this motivate you to wake up early, but it will also set the Law of Attraction in motion in your co-creating your reality.  You will synchronize and order your steps for your highest good each day.
  2. Eat more raw alkalizing foods to help with digestion.  Just as importantly, eat a light dinner and stop eating at least 3 hours before bedtime.  If you go to bed at 10:00 pm, then your last meal should be before 7:00 pm.  You will have more restful sleep if your food is digested before you go to bed.  More restful sleep helps you to get up earlier each morning.
  3. Go to sleep before 11:00 pm.  By getting to bed before 11:00 pm, you will get a full night’s rest and have the energy to rise early in the morning.
  4. Get 15 minutes of sunlight twice a day.  Sunlight helps to regulate melatonin levels which set your sleep patterns along with the rising and setting of the sun.  If you want to get up early get a reasonable amount of sunlight.  Hey, ask suffers how they manage to rise early to catch the best waves!
  5. Listen to Alpha and Delta relaxation sound and mind development tools.  You can find these as CDs on the net.  These techniques help you to relax and awaken with direction, clarity, and focus.  What good would it do you to wake up early but you have no focus?
  6. Never hit the snooze button on your alarm clock. Hitting the snooze button for 5 or 10 minutes only sets a frustrating tone for the day.  Also, when you hit the snooze button, you are not practicing the discipline necessary to become an early riser.
  7. Find a way to unwind during your lunch break or around the 12:00 hour.  Relaxing in the middle of the day with a puzzle, walk, or just listening to your iPod for about 15 minutes will help to relieve muscle tension for the remainder of the day.  Less muscle tension helps you sleep better at night and rise early in the morning.
  8. Exercise at least 30 minutes daily.  Exercising each day is a part of a healthy lifestyle.  When you exercise, you oxygenize the body which makes it easy for you to relax at night and rise early in the morning.
  9. Get a pet.  Pets must be walked and fed early each morning.  You won’t find a dog or cat who sleeps until noon.
  10. Have friend who is an early riser call you each morning.  Accountability is good for building discipline and sometimes you need little support until you master being an early riser.

I hope these tips help you to get up and going earlier each morning.  The inspiration motivation to live life to the fullest begins at the crack of dawn; the earlier you rise, the more of the joy of life you can experience each day.

Until next time, Get up Early and remember to live well, live wise, live wealthy, and let the Creative Spirit move you.

The Law of Attraction Asserts that Positivity Creates Productivity Because Like Attracts Like

Written on September 14th, 2009 by Carmellita_Brownno shouts

It may be difficult to believe that the Law of Attraction asserts that like attracts like.  We have been told for so long that opposites attract.  However, we grasp a clear understanding of principles associated with the Law of Attraction when we look at the correlation between positivity and productivity.

A positive mental attitude is a productive mental attitude.  You can really see the difference in a person’s life who practices positivity.  You can see the difference positivity makes because you will see many manifestations of productivity.

So how does positivity and productivity work together?  Positivity and productivity are powerful energy currency which work together to attract and synchronize your steps in right action.  In other words, positivity draws productivity which creates order.

Sometimes, those of us in the field of metaphysics, personal development, spirituality, and even self-help can haphazardly explain what positivity is and how it relates to productivity and synchronicity.  We explain it as in complicated rhetoric which may convey perfectionism.  Then some may explain it  as having a nice disposition, thinking positively and saying positive affirmations all day.

However, positivity is much simpler than this but much broader in its cosmic affect in our lives.  Positivity, which draws productivity, is the choice to live your life from higher consciousness and as your true and authentic self.  There is something about living your life with positivity as your true and authentic self that draws wonderful synchronicities and order in your life.  Things just seem to work out for your highest good.

And just how does this happen?  Can the Law of Attraction explain this magnificent phenomenon?  It may seem like magic, but the law of attraction can most certainly explain how positivity draws productivity and wonderful synchronicities in your life.

Positivity is manifesting life from your higher consciousness and committing to expanding your awareness of ever-increasing good.  This commitment to expanding your awareness of ever-increasing good emits a vibration which is synonymous with productivity and order.  Productivity and order causes alignment, harmony, and peace.  Synchronicity happens because inspiration flows easily and without resistance where there is harmony, alignment, and peace.

In other words, positivity makes it easy for good to flow in your life.  And when it is easy for good to flow in your life, you can be more productive at manifesting the life and reality you truly desire to live.

Negativity is the opposite of positivity.  The Law of Attraction is no respecter of persons; so, if you are operating in negativity, you are not living from your higher consciousness or as your true and authentic self.  When you operate in negativity, you are ego-driven and living your life according to fear, fetters, and illusions.  As a result, you have to fight and struggle for everything you desire and often times; you will find yourself confused about what you truly desire. It is like spending your precious energy and powerful intentions chasing apparitions instead of creating and manifesting your true desires.

It may all seem more difficult than what it is, but the key is to operating in positivity is spending time in prayer and meditation in order to tap into the field of higher consciousness which is God (Source Energy, The “I AM”, The ALL) in you.  And when we begin to live our lives in the Presence, we find that the inspiration to live life the Blue Lotus Living way…in full bloom.

Until next time, flow in positivity and remember to live well, live wise, live wealthy, and let the Creative Spirit move you.

Will You Manifest Good Health and Well-Being or Continue With Swine Flu Imaginations

Written on September 11th, 2009 by Carmellita_Brownno shouts

We cannot emphasize enough the importance of thinking health, wellness, well-being, and prosperity.  Do we get up each day and proclaim our health and wellness or do we listen and believe that we will be victims of swine flu or whatever the latest “epidemic” may be?  Here’s a hint…Choose to imagine yourself in health, wellness, well-being, and prosperity.

Are we saying don’t take necessary precautions?  Of course not, do what you can do to protect you and all those around you.  However, do one even better for yourself and those around you, think health and wellness.  Believe and know that you are in good health and that all good is manifesting through you right now.

When you choose to co-create your reality with our loving an abundant Universe and with an omnipotent Creator and ALL in ALL, then you know with great conviction that you can live in health and wellness if you believe it.

I remember Roslyn telling me some time ago before she began her journey on the path of enlightenment, “I use to think that if you didn’t worry about something, you didn’t care about it.”  Many of us can understand her old thinking because we may have thought the same thing.

After growth and development on the path of enlightenment and increasing her consciousness, Roslyn came to know that worrying and caring are not the same thing and do not emit the same vibration.  Worry is focusing on fear and having greater belief in the thing you fear than the thing you truly desire.

So again, don’t get wrapped up in the doom and gloom and bad reports about swine flu, proclaim and declare your health, wellness, well-being, and prosperity and you will emit the vibration of harmony, peace, and abundance in mind, body, and spirit.

Until next time, believe in your health and well-being, and remember to live well, live wise, live wealthy, and let the Creative Spirit move you

With the Law of Attraction We Can Manifest, Think, and Actualize the Beautiful Picture of Happiness and Prosperity

Written on September 11th, 2009 by Carmellita_Brownno shouts

Attraction is a powerful gift and just as all Universal laws, the Law of Attraction bestows various rights and power with it.  Specifically, we can manifest what we truly desire in our life because we hold the divine right to think whatsoever we want to think.  No one and nothing can stop you from thinking what you choose to think, but you.

This whole Universe is made up of the thinking stuff.  The Kybalion states quite clearly…

“All is Mind. The Universe is Mental.”

We must hold fast to the truth that we have the right and power to think what we want to think.  We can control the good we attract into our lives and our reality.  The Universal Law of Attraction, The Universal Law of Vibration, and the Universal Law of Mentalism with all its principles work together so that we may be able to transform our state and create the conditions we truly desire in our lives and our reality.

If we want to experience happiness, health, and prosperity, then we must be happiness, health, and prosperity and we will draw happiness thoughts, healthy thought forms, and prosperity thinking.  The thoughts we think become things in our life.  These thoughts become what happiness is, what prosperity is, what health is.

Therefore, it is very important that you have a picture in our minds what happiness, health, and prosperity looks like and represents to you so that you may channel these thoughts through you and these thoughts will manifest according to what you believe happiness is.  .

This is why some people have trouble actualizing their dreams, visions, and true desires.  They have trouble because they are not picturing happiness or prosperity.  There is contradiction in the thoughts they draw from the mental plan and their heart’s desire because the pictures that flash before the mind are not pictures of happiness and prosperity.

Accordingly, the thought forms they are drawing from the mental plane do not match (in vibration and likeness) to that which they truly desire.  Simply put, their beliefs (system of thoughts and collection of thought forms) do not align with what they truly want and what they are picturing in their mind’s eye is evidence of the contradictions.

For example, if you truly desire to have a prosperous business, but you are picturing how difficult it is going to be to draw customers and clients to your business, then your picture does not align with your desire, nor does it align with happiness and prosperity. Does not having a low customer-base bring you happiness or feel prosperous?   If this is your picture, then your picture does not align with a true desire of a prosperous business.

So what do you do?  How do you change the pictures that have turned into a horror film playing in your mind?  You change them by consciously changing your state.  You become conscious about what you read, the images you see, what you listen to, even what you eat, in order to change those pictures you are conjuring and imagining.  Take care to consciously and purposely read, look at images, listen to, and eat that which is of a higher vibration with deliberate intent.  If you truly desire to be happiness (yes be happiness) and live in prosperity, then read happiness, look at images of happiness and prosperity, listen to happiness and prosperity and you will manifest the beautiful picture of happiness and prosperity in your life.

Ultimately, as you do these things with deliberate intent, you become more conscious about your own consciousness, then you will transform your state which will vibrationally match with your true desires.  This vibratory match will cause the energy of the things you desire to flow in your time-space reality and manifest in your life.

Become like a sculptor, picture the beauty you want to manifest and mold into your reality.  Become like a painter, picture the beauty and luminosity you want to actualize in your life, and manifest it with each beautiful hue and stroke of your brush.

You have the power.  You can create it.  Until next time, manifest beauty in your life and remember to live well, live wise, live wealthy and let the Creative Spirit move you.

Overcoming Mental Illness with Good Vibration for the Whole Self in Mind, Body, and Spirit

Written on September 10th, 2009 by Carmellita_Brownno shouts

With the warring views of healthcare going back and forth like an unrelenting game of table tennis, one group of people suffering tremendously are those who are struggling with mental illness.  While we at Blue Lotus Living do not seek to give some quick fix answer to mental illness, we realize that mental illness can be a spiritual malady.  Mental illness as a spiritual malady has a spiritual answer and that answer relates to understanding the metaphysics of vibration.

Good vibration or positive vibration, as some like to call it, incorporates a mind-body-spirit connection which supports well-being.  So, how does one create the mind-body-spirit connection?  It begins with understanding and embracing 3 life-transforming agents:

  1. Oneness
  2. Holism
  3. Wholeness

Oneness, holism, and wholeness are agents of the Holy Spirit or the Oneness Blessing.  Let’s explore each of these components in brief detail:

Oneness is the guiding principle of the entire Universe.  The word Universe means one song or one harmony.  Oneness is made possible by unconditional love and prosperity.  The spirit of oneness is what keeps all things in harmony.  When we embrace oneness, we offer, emit, and embody the vibration of peace, order, harmony, and well-being.  Oneness leads us to recover or rediscover our true and authentic self.  In the mind, when we embrace the spiritual principle of oneness, we no longer get bombarded with fragmented thoughts, as a result, we are able to direct our attention and focus in on our powerful intentions to manifest our true desires in life.  In the body, when we embrace the spiritual principle of oneness, we experience physical alignment, the pituitary gland is able to regulate all other glands and body chemicals and hormones are regulated as well.  Furthermore, the spine becomes aligned and we experience the proper functions of our entire chakra system.

Holism is the guiding principle of our total human and physical experience.  Holism is made possible by purpose, peace, and order.  The philosophy of Holism is that we are indivisible.  We are not divided.  Therefore when it comes to soundness of mind all things should be considered which includes physical conditions, mental conditions, and social conditions.  When holism relates to the body, it promotes that all systems, faculties, and bodily functions work together to support health and wellness.

Wholeness is the guiding principle of life and longevity.  Wholeness is made possible by elimination, replenishment, and restoration.  For mental wholeness we have to eliminated bad habits, thoughts non-productive to our true desires, and conflicting energy from our mental environment and replenish it with good habits, thoughts productive to our true desires by raising our vibration, and align with energy which promotes our true and authentic self.  With proper replenishment, we experience the joys of mental restoration.  The same is true for the body.  The body in the detoxification process, eliminates, replenishes, and then experiences restoration.  This is accomplished by eating whole, organic, raw plant foods and drinking pH balanced water. The result is long life specifically long-lasting life.

A holistic lifestyle when practiced consciously and with the intentions of well-being and happiness, one can experience the glorious benefits of focusing on his her state of being rather than the conditions.  The Universal and Spiritual Law of Mentalism asserts that we can transform our conditions by transforming our state.  We transform our state by transforming our vibration.

Fragmenting our Self will only place us in default where we are subjected to living from condition to condition, situation to situation, and influence to influence.  We can overcome the strongholds of mental illness by applying the principles of the Law of Mentalism.  We can overcome mental illness by raising our vibration and experiencing good vibration for the whole self in mind, body, and spirit.

Until next time, embrace oneness, holism, and wholeness, and remember to live well, live wise, live wealthy and let the Creative Spirit move you.
