The Holistic Creative Entrepreneur Practices Productivity and Creativity for Good Business Sake

Written on December 15th, 2009 by Carmellita_Brown6 shouts

Being an Entrepreneur is one of those gifts we all have access to if we develop our skills in areas of productivity and creativity.  As a Holistic Creative Entrepreneur, I have discovered that productivity and creativity are the basic essentials for success in any field of business.

holistic_creative_entrepreneurSince we’ve re-established Blue Lotus Living, productivity and creativity have been the focus of everything involved with our business model.  Our business model is that of internet publishing (blogging, social networking, link-exchange, digital products…) and with internet publishing you have to be creative and productive on a daily basis.

Yes, here in the blogosphere and cyberworld, you have to utilize productivity and creativity daily because things are constantly changing.  Do you know how many times I go to the administration area of our site to find out I need to upgrade a plugin?  But this is what entrepreneurs do; we have to stay on top of things.  We have to know the latest innovation.

With this in mind, I wanted to share with you today some skills necessary to promote productivity and creativity in your business or career.  And let me make it very clear, productivity and creativity is necessary even if you are “hired” by someone else.

Some skills necessary to enhance your productivity and creativity for good business sake are:

1.  Innovation

Innovation is not unique to the entrepreneur, but it is most definitely required.  Innovation is spawn from the creativity and the execution of one’s witty ideas.  It is always good to be an innovator instead of an imitator.  Innovation is the ability to use creative energy and channel original ideas which become something unique.

For instance, as I have become more and more involved in the internet publishing or e-publishing industry, I have learned the necessity of innovation.  We live in an age of the Global Economy and The Age of Information (an overlapping gumbo of an age you can say).  Because information can be transmitted with the touch of a button, we are consuming more information than ever and we are consuming it quickly.  Those who are succeeding online are staying on top of ways to meet the demand for information.  They are staying on top of ways to get information out quickly, efficiently, and accurately.

And if you don’t think you have great ideas, that doesn’t mean you are not meant to be an entrepreneur.  Innovators also know how to capitalize on a great idea.  A few moments ago, I told you about how I always have to update my plugins for this site.  Well, this site is powered by www.wordpress.com, but many different people have developed the plugins I use for this site.  That’s still innovation.  I may not have “invented the internet,” but I sure am finding wonderful and innovative ways to use it to promote and establish a luminous and beautiful community and company called Blue Lotus Living.

2.  Passion

Few people believe it, but we got to keep saying it.  “Do what you love and the money will follow.”  I tell you the truth, you will be amazed at the amount of energy you can muster when you are doing what you love.  And that energy which will take you so much farther than ambition and drive is called Passion.

It is very difficult to be passionate and enthusiastic about anything you don’t love.  Moreover, it is difficult to be productive and creative if you are not passionate about what you are doing.  Again, ambition can only take you so far.

Passion puts the intensity in your intentions.  Those among us who understand how the Law of Attraction works also know that your intentions are critical to the manifestation process.  The intensity behind your intentions are fueled by love and passion.  Productivity and creativity follow this passions.

And how can passion be a skill, you might ask?  Passion becomes as skill when we use it as vehemence.  Vehemence has force as in influence.  And in this context of influence we mean the ability to effect something.  For this reason, passion is very important in helping you enhance your skills for creativity and productivity.

If you are not passionate about what you are doing, you will not have a passionate staff or passionate subordinates and you most certainly will not have passionate consumers or clients.

For instance, before I left New Orleans, I was told that an associate of mine was stepping down as Executive Director of her Community Based Organization.  She had been providing Substance Abuse Counseling services to HIV/AIDS clients for over 14 years.   After leaving, she opened a small but elegant Night Club in a more up and coming neighborhood in New Orleans.

She was met with a lot of criticism because people felt she had turned her back on the community.  After running into her daughter,  a few months after she opened the club, I asked about her.  Her daughter said that her mom stepped down because she was tired.  She wanted the services to continue but she no longer had the passion for it.

“Mama wants to be around music and laughter at this point in her life.  She’s 47 and she has been doing community work and activism since she was 19,” her daughter told me. “She has a new passion now.  I wish people would stop dogging her about it.  She’s happy.”

I fully understood and I told her daughter to tell my former associate that I wished her well.  There is nothing productive nor can anyone be creative if they continue to do a thing they are no longer passionate about.  You know longer have influence when you are doing something for which you no longer have the passion to do.

Are there ways to stir up your passion again?  Of course there are.  Some great ways to stir up your passion are:

  • Return to your purpose and intentions.  Why did you begin to do the thing you are doing in the first place?  Think about how you would feel if you could no longer do it.  Ask yourself, if you are resisting some sort of necessary change or transformation which has caused you to lose your passion.  Again, this will take you back to purpose.
  • Find ways you can make things new and fresh again.  Is there something you haven’t tried?  Is there something you haven’t tried a different way?
  • Associated with others who are interested and passionate about the thing you are doing.  Passion can be contagious.
  • Walk away for a while and see how you feel before making a drastic decision.  We all need a break.

3.  Attention and Focus

Some of us have developed a short attention span for everything but what “entertains” us.  Developing our ability to focus and pay close attention to what is truly important in our lives has now become an arduous task for many.  It has become a task because of the vast number of distractions or “dis-attractions that we have in our lives.  The average home in Western cultures has at least 3 televisions.  Then  you have iPods, cellular phones, 200 Apps on the cell phone, video games, tons of DVDs and CD, computers, and  computer games.

When was he last time you sat in a room other than the bathroom quietly for 15 minutes with no television, no phone, no computer, or any other gadgets?  Hmm…Can’t remember?

Sometimes in order to get our focus back and to start paying attention to what really matters in life, we need to detoxify from our distractions.  Yes, all these things serve their purpose and have become important in the day to day tasks in our lives, but we still have to put all the stuff away at times in order to keep our footing in life.  Most importantly, we must pay attention to and remain focused on our vision of purpose in life.

For example, as entrepreneurs we always have to remain focus if we want our business to grow and expand.  You have to pay just as much attention to customer and client relations as you do to the bottom line.  What good is a top-notch marketing plan if your customer relations suck?  What good is customer relations if you have no marketing plan and your business is barely breaking even?

You happen to notice these things when you are focused and paying attention.  When you get focused, you get productive.  When you pay attention, you are in the present moment.  And we all now know that when you are in the present moment, you are in the presence of God or you are in the presence of omniscience and omnipotence.  Your most powerful moment is now.  As you increase your awareness in the present moment, you tap into the field of infinite possibilities.  Here, in this field, there are endless opportunities available to you.  By holding the vibration of acute awareness and ever-increasing good, you will draw to you by way of the Law of Attraction, the best opportunity to get the best result no matter what the current situation may be.

Need a marketing plan?  It’s available so get focused.  Need a better way to relate to your customers or clients?  It’s available so get focused.  Need a new business concept?  It’s available so get focused on it.  It’s all available when you become available to it by tapping into the field of infinite intelligence and drawing to you all the resource, opportunities, things, and people you need to conceptualize your desires.

What you don’t pay attention to, you get distracted from or dis-attracted from! What does that mean?  Whatever you don’t pay attention to in life is left in a state of default.  In other words, you have no influence over or no power to flow energy towards a thing you don’t pay attention to.  This means it is left to chance.

For instance, if you don’t pay attention to your children, then you have little influence in advising them on things that could help them succeed in life.  When you don’t have influence in your children’s life, then who knows who they are taking advice from.  Perhaps, your child is listening to someone who may not have your child’s best interest at heart.

The same is true in the subjective/spiritual realm.  Remember, as it states in the Kybalion, “ALL is mind, the universe is mental.”  When you do not pay attention or focus in on something, then it is left to be influenced by other mental powers.  Yes, this includes your business so pay attention.  If you are not focused or paying attention, you may hire the wrong people for a job.  You may execute an advertising campaign that isn’t very fruitful.  You may launch a product that isn’t ready for market.

When we pay attention, we get full wisdom and knowledge on how to handle things most productively.  We also get creative ideas on how we can do things.  So, again, pay attention.

4.  Imagination and Visualization

Increasing your imagination and visualization skills is crucial for the enhancement of productivity and creativity.  Imagination and visualization can be used as tools in business.

When you use your imagination and visualize, creativity flows naturally and without resistance.  The flow of creativity then sparks excitement and enthusiasm.  When this fire is lit, you become more productive almost spontaneously.

Some of the most effective ways to increase the flow of your imagination and improve the vividness of your visualizations are:

  •  Journaling about what you would like to see happen in your business in the next year, 5 years, 10 years.  Make this a daily activity.  As you journal, you are thinking and seeing at the same time.  What you are writing down, you are imagining.  Be sure to journal in present tense as if the vision you have for your business has already actualized.
  • Go on long nature walks.  Just going on a 30 minute nature walk sparks the imagination.  You will find that nature gives you incredible inspiration that will stir your imagination.
  • Meditation as a daily activity.  Meditation has a way of clearing the mind of debris and gives you the energy and mental space to imagine and visualize what you truly desire to happen in your business and in your life.

Now, with these skills you will enhance your productivity and creativity as you thrive in life and business as a Holistic Creative Entrepreneur.  Furthermore, as you grow in other skills, talents, and abilities as an Entrepreneur, you will find that your productivity and creativity will naturally enhance to meet your growth if you continue to develop these skills.

Yes, Entrepreneurship is a wonderful gift, but as with all gifts, once it is in your hands, it is your job as a co-creator with our loving and abundant universe to make the most of it.  Be momentous.  During your journey on the path of enlightenment you will gain many gifts and talents along the way, but you must be willing to maintain a progressive state of being.  Everything in this universe must grow, multiply, and expand.  Anything that stagnates will either disintegrate or die.  Digression is death.  Expansion and growth is life.

So put the life back into your living and your business or career today.

A Metaphysical Secret to Success – Your Higher Consciousness and the Law of Attraction Work together to Attract Resources to You

Written on November 8th, 2009 by Carmellita_Brownno shouts
higher consciousness

The conscious use of your creative power by allowing the Creative Spirit to move through you works with the law of attraction.  It works with the law of attraction because it is the use of your higher consciousness.

Focused and Creative Visualization, Meditation, Prayer, Visioning into Manifestation, yoga, and other spiritual tools and technologies, when used, have the power attracts to you useful and limitless resources, divine wisdom, positive people, empowering relationships, and enables you to take full advantage of opportunities you may not have realized were available to you.

For example, during my days as practicing success coach, a young woman came to me for help getting into a program that would enhance here career significantly.  She had attempted to get in the program the year before and was turned down by the committee over the program.  As her success coach, we sat down and I guided her through a Meditative Journey in order to open her subconscious mind to the infinite possibilities available to her.

Then, I encourage her to start go to the place where the program would be held (local university in New Orleans) and begin imagining herself there in the classroom, seeing herself doing the work for the program as if she had already been accepted.  Well, she went home and did her spiritual work.  She also took inspired action to rearrange her schedule at work to make room for the classes in her evening schedule.

Furthermore, she remembered that the department at the university which was hosting the program was headed by one of her old college professors.  She decided to write a letter to him about why she wanted to be a part of the program and asked him for a letter of recommendation.  He asked to meet with her and remembered her.  While he did not write a letter of recommendation, he did put in a good word for her.  Although she got into the program at the very last minute, she got in because another student had dropped out.

As she told me about her success, I could see the wonderful synchronicities that took place in order for her to manifest her desire.  I could see the Law of Attraction at work.    This is the power of vision and provision of the universe at work.  Where there is not vision there can be no provision.  It is much like the natural law of supply and demand.  Where there is strong demand for something, there will be a supply.

In our culture, we now have something called “Social Networking.”  Why?  There is a supply called “Social Networking” because people don’t want to be out here in cyber-world alone and webmasters wanted to get to know their audience even if they can’t see their faces.  We now have “Social Networking” because if this great demand.  Some very bright people got together and took the web to another level (i.e. Web 2.0).  Where there is a demand, there will eventually be a supply.  My friend, ask and it is always given.

It does not matter how impossible a thing may seem, the man or woman who is open to infinite possibilities and using his or her infinite potential by holding his or her desire in their heart until it manifests…will actualize be triumphant and succeed in getting what he or she desires.  Again, ask and it is always given.

Our commitment to spiritual “work-play” such as Focused and Creative Visualization, Meditation, Prayer, and the like is our asking when we focus in our desire.  We are aiming at what we truly wanting and we are demanding its actualization in our reality.  The obstacles are real.  What is real is what we visualize it to be.  Once we reconcile with this truth—that reality is what we co-create it to be—then we will find the joy, fun, and adventure in co-creating our reality.

Furthermore, we will become available to the flow and the working of the Law of Attraction to draw into our lives the resources required for manifesting our desires and actualizing our dreams.  This is living from our higher consciousness.  And when we live from our higher consciousness, we draw to us by way of the law of attraction; the best life has to offer.

Be Extraordinary and Express the God in You

Written on November 3rd, 2009 by Carmellita_Brownno shouts

As children, unfortunately, we are taught to be like everyone else.  Walk in line, wear uniforms to school, sit in a single file row of desk at school, and follow the routine exactly.  Often times, it seems we were trained to be ordinary.  But as always, are we suppose to be ordinary?  Are we suppose to just spit out what is put in us in the same manner in which it was consumed?

I tell you friends of Blue Lotus Living, sometimes, ordinary just will not cut it.  There is a desire in all of us to be momentous, great, an inspiration to others.  The very idea of being something more than just your job title, your role as a parent, husband, wife, or friend is a desire that grows in us all as we mature and develop on the path of enlightenment.  This desire grows and yearns and we cannot deny it.  The more and more we deny it, the more we feel a disconnect with our true and authentic self.

We desire to be something more than ordinary and in fact some say it is our desire to be extraordinary—an accomplished person who knows how to manifest his or her dreams.  Such an extraordinary person that he or she thinks so far outside of the box, he or she cannot be contained.

And as we study self-improvement, personal development, or even self-help, are we developing our extraordinary nature or are we doing the same thing we were taught in school—maintaining the status quo?  To make it quite simple, are we developing our unique expression of creativity as it flows through us?

So when we say self-help or self-improvement or personal development, we truly don’t give justice to what it is we are trying to accomplish when we study this field.  We are not just trying to help ourselves, we are not just trying to get money, and we are not just trying to find our soul mate.  We are not just trying to improve ourselves.  What we are attempting each time we try a self-improvement program or philosophy is to become extraordinary.

Now those among us who are modest in personality will probably swear this isn’t true.  Then let me ask you a question:  Are you truly satisfied with the status quo?  Do you want to keep manifesting what you are manifesting now?

So, when you say you want the ordinary and you want to be ordinary, you have just taking residence and citizenship in the state of denial.  First and foremost, as spiritual beings, we are divine and creative.  Each of us is a unique expression and manifestation of the Most High Creator—the All in All.  And because we are this expression, it is natural for us to want to express this uniqueness through ourselves.

When we open ourselves to this uniqueness, we plug back into life, not the mundane and surely not the monotonous routine which is no life at all.  Our unique expression of creativity restores the wonder and adventure back to life because it is the soul being expressed as it reveals itself to the world.  And when your soul is being expressed to the world, the God in you is being expressed.

With this in mind, celebrate your uniqueness and reach for the extraordinary in you and express your soul to the world.  Because when you show and express your extraordinariness, you are letting others see, feel, realize, and be inspired by the God in you.

Happiness and Real Self Esteem is a Daily Celebration of Your Joyous and Powerful Nature

Written on October 12th, 2009 by Carmellita_Brownno shouts

joy-happinessDid you get up this morning with a true passion and love for the life you are living?  Did you get up this morning with little butterflies in your stomach as you recognized this is the greatest day of your life?  I hope you are answering yes to all the above questions.  If not, I hope I could change your mind and perhaps remind you exactly why you should “be happiness” today.

Today, I cannot call this an entry or an article for the Blue Lotus Living Community.  In fact, I would think it was something quite different.  Today, I will call this post a love letter for the Blue Lotus Living Community.

Your joyful journey on the path of enlightenment begins with how you feel about who you really are.  We can talk about personal development, self-improvement or self-help all day long, but true personal development, authentic self-improvement, and real self-help begins with self-love.  Self-love will empower you as a divine being.  Love is the fuel and energy within and about all things in our universe.  Why?  Because it is only through love that we can experience oneness, harmony, peace, well-being…and yes happiness.

Self-Esteem has been explained 101 ways to Sunday by many self-help and personal development gurus.  However, real self-esteem is when you feel your own “divine-ness” and when you feel good about this “divine-ness.”

Divine-ness, what do we mean when we say divine-ness?  You as a divine being have this omniscience and omnipotence which is flowing through you by way of the Holy Spirit or Oneness Blessing.  The moment you embraced that light that is within you and decided you will be a willing vessel for good, you open a passage way in your life for the Holy Spirit or Oneness Blessing to flow.

The flow of the Oneness Bless or Holy Spirit is the Creative Spirit and when it flows it brings with it the happiness, peace, well-being, and harmony of the Universe. When it flows continuously, it is abundance. This abundant flow of harmony and well-being reminds us each day that we can do, have, or be whatever we truly desire—and this is real self-esteem.

Family, real self-esteem is feeling your real nature which is joyous, powerful, and abundant.  We think self-esteem has to do with whether or not we think we are physically attractive, smart, funny, or gorgeous.  That is only a generic form of self-esteem.  Real self-esteem allows you to feel your powerful nature and know that you are beauty, you are luminous, you are love and you are being loved right now.

Your journey on this path of Enlightenment can be so joyous, spontaneous, adventurous, and beautiful if you celebrate your true self in such as beauty, joy, and luminosity..  Celebrate your self as if you were the most delightful, beautiful, luminous, attractive, happiest, peaceful, and intelligent person who ever lived.  With that celebration will spring up an unconditional love for self and this love will bring with it real self-esteem.

We think we can base our real self-esteem on accomplishments or achievements.  These things will bring fleeting moments of joy.  However, if we want to truly experience real self-esteem and discover the joy and wonder of “being happiness”, then we have to celebrate who we really are each day as if we have already made high achievements and great accomplishments in life.

When you and I make this decision—the decision that we will celebrate who we really are each and everyday as if we have achieved all the success in the world, then we will attract to our reality the happiness, peace, joy, harmony, and prosperity which flows in our loving and abundant universe.

This is your journey.  This is your life.  You can make it a celebration or a B-rated 1970’s horror flick.  Let go the trauma which is perpetuated by the ego and allow well-being to flow in your life.  Celebrate the real you and you will increase in real self-esteem.

Is Phonemic Awareness a Right Brain or Left Brain Hemisphere Skill?

Written on October 2nd, 2009 by Carmellita_Brown3 shouts

First, I know many of you in the Blue Lotus Living Community would like to know…what is phonemic awareness?  Those of you who do know what phonemic awareness is may wonder what it has to do with metaphysics, spiritual development, or personal development.

Well, let’s define what Phonemic Awareness is and then we can get into how it relates to metaphysics, spiritual development, and personal development.  Phonemic Awareness is a branch of phonological awareness which is used to increase reading skills.  It requires segmenting, blending, manipulating, and isolating specific sounds such as in the word “WET” which would be W/E/T in order to:

(1)   build skills for reading comprehension

(2)   help build understanding of the English Language

(3)   increase oral reading fluency

(4)   increase understanding of text

Now, with a concrete understanding of what phonemic awareness is, we can understand something new about the power of reading and whether or not reading enhances the skills of the right brain or left brain.

While reading requires the use of left brain and right brain skills, as we look closer at the attributes associated with the left brain hemisphere and the right brain hemisphere, reading is proving to be right brain skill more than a left brain skill chiefly because of the phonemic awareness.  Phonemic awareness requires reasoning skills (manipulating and blending) which are right brain hemisphere attributes.  Phonemic awareness requires fluidity which are right brain attributes.

The Right Brain Hemisphere is associated with creativity.  This proves that by increasing your reading skills you can also enhance your creativity.  With this in mind, it is important that we read daily for pleasure and creativity enhancement.

Reading daily is important for children as well as adults.  It is the phonemic awareness process which requires that we remain present moment aware.  You can not think about lunch and how terrible the traffic will be tomorrow while reading.  Reading is fluid—it has flow which means you must remain conscious and aware in the moment in order to read effectively otherwise, you are just perusing.

The creativity enhancement of reading for pleasure and skill development can seep into our spiritual and personal development.  Fluidity and creativity is a huge part of our empowerment as co-creators.  Reading requires visualization which is a very powerful spiritual and personal development technology.  With this realization, it is no wonder they say, “Readers are leaders.”

Until next time, read more and remember to live well, live wise, live wealthy, and let the Creative Spirit move you.

The Numerological Representation of 09.09.09…Does it Mean Anything?

Written on September 9th, 2009 by Carmellita_Brownone shout

I have always believed that we can find meaning in numbers and patterns. Does today’s date 09.09.09 mark the day of something special or something significant? There is a pattern here: yes, three nines when added together they are 27 when you add 2 + 7, you still get nine. So let’s explore some possible significance here.

In the I-Ching, the hexagram 9 is the Small Harvest or the Small accumulation. A small accumulation is usually the beginning of a return on something invested or planted. The small accumulation or small harvest is evidence of more that is yet to come with maturity..

In numerology, 9 represents  intuition, insight, clairvoyance, and foresight. With this understanding, those of you who have listened to the Deep Trance Channeling I completed called The Oracle Within – The Scepter of Prosperity, now realize why this channeling was released in 2009 by the Blue Lotus Living family to our online community.

As one researches the number 9, one will realize that 9 cannot be separated from the number three which represents eternal life. For the Chinese, nine was equated with longevity and was referred to as the “Good Number.”

Right now, many News Stations are reporting a great number of marriages happening now in China, the number of marriages taking place today are nearly matching the record of that in 08.08.08. Many in the Chinese culture believe that getting married today on 09.09.09 will bring a long-lasting marriage.

My favorite representation of the number 9, which is also numerological, is “Completion.” The number 9 means going all the way until a thing is finished and finished well. So what I will take from 09.09.09 is that today will be a day I will give a 100% to what I do. I will give my all and do it well. Yes, this should be the intention everyday, but today, I am truly reminded of the importance of completion and giving my all.

So, today, go to the 9’s and don’t let fear limit you. After all you are an extension of All-that-is and you are Infinite Potential manifested. Go to the 9’s and remember, to live well, live wise, live wealthy, and let the Creative Spirit move you.

The Universal And Spiritual Law of Radiation

Written on September 3rd, 2009 by Carmellita_Brownno shouts

We identify the Universal and Spiritual Law of  Radiation as a law significant to spiritual transformation.  The Law of Radiation is a practical law; meaning, it is not only a “that is” law, but a law which can be practiced.  The Law of radiation is defined as follows:

The Universal and Spiritual Law of Radiation is expression of Divine Activity. Understanding radiation and emanation conditions, the law of radiation asserts that one emanates or radiates according to one’s vibration.  As such, one’s approach to reality and ability to affect reality is determined by one’s spiritual evolution. The law is universal.  It is the outer effect produced by all forms in all kingdoms when their internal activity has reached such a stage of vibratory activity that the confining walls of the form no longer form a prison, but permit the liberation of the subjective essence. From a cosmic, spiritual, divine, and universal perspective, liberation means the ability of any conscious atom to pass out of one sphere of energized influence into another of a higher vibration of a larger and wider expanse of conscious realization.  This is the basis of all true and authentic evolution and transformation.

Metaphysical Poetry – A Beautiful Mind Wasted To Time – Metaphysical Poem

Written on August 22nd, 2009 by Carmellita_Brownone shout

The Metaphysical Poem, “A Beautiful Mind Wasted to Time” deals with the illusion of time and wasted creative and mental energy.  When in a delusional state, we can get diverted away from our vision and our true desires.  We get  diverted by believing in the illusion of the “perfect time” to do a thing.  This belief in the “perfect time” often causes us to not use the mental power and mental resources available to us in the moment.  We hope you enjoy the Metaphysical poem “A Beautiful Mind Wasted to Time”  by Metaphysical Poet Carmellita Brown.

Is it my time yet to do all the things you said I can do?

Do I have to wait until the stars line up on that special day in the special year?

Time keeps moving and I must still wait

Yet as the clouds move swiftly across the sky I look at my dreams pass me by

Will I be another?  You know what I am asking

Will I be a beautiful mind wasted to time?

What can God do through me tomorrow that cannot be done today

What more do I need to be the conduit I was designed to be.

I am your mind beautiful and willing

Time keeps moving…why should I wait

This moment is as powerful as the next

Will I be a beautiful mind wasted in time?

Set me free and let me do that which I was purposed to do

Set me free and I will drive out the fear

Set me free from the bondage of fetters and illusions

Live as you were purposed to live

Fulfill your destiny and let the beauty of me flow through you

For a beautiful mind is a terrible thing to waste.

Conscious Creative Artists Are the New Sages – The Spiritual Endowment of Telepathy in our Artistic Expression

Written on August 11th, 2009 by Carmellita_Brownno shouts

As human beings we are endowed with very specific inalienable rights and that is the right to happiness.  However, as conscious creative artist—this choice to create as manifestations of God or Source, we are endowed with spiritual gifts imparted by the Oneness Blessing or the Holy Spirit.  One specific endowment is the gift of telepathy.

We use the gift of telepathy to communicate wisdom and hope from this higher place through our art, artistic work, and creative expression.  As conscious creative artists, through our art telepathic whispers encourage and inspire others to allow the Creative Spirit to move them as they co-create their reality.

For example, have you ever listened to a song and the song made you want to dance?  Have you ever watched a love story and wanted to fall in love?  Have you ever read a story of triumph and it inspired you to face your fears in life?  Have you ever read an article filled with information that helped you look at life differently or do something in a different way?

If your answers are yes to any of the above examples, then you understand the telepathy behind our work as conscious creative artists.  Does this inspiration and impartation of wisdom happen even when the artist is unaware of it?  Certainly it does.  However, the difference between conscious creativity and unconscious creativity is the same difference between co-creating your reality and being a victim or victor of circumstances.

As a conscious creative artist you are deliberately convey a message for higher good and higher consciousness, just as a co-creator you are deliberately co-creating your reality for your highest good.  Yes, an artist can “just-so-happen” to tap into his higher being and create art that is inspirational and empowering, but would it not be better to do it deliberately?  If it is done deliberately, then you can channel this creative energy in all of your art.

Similarly, in life, it is better to co-create your reality.  Can you “just-so-happen” get the get what you desire from time to time? Yes.  Can you “just-so-happen” manifest one of your dreams? Yes.  But, wouldn’t it be better to deliberately co-create your desires and manifest your dreams with a loving and abundant universe?  If it is done deliberately, then you can channel inspiration, wisdom, and creative energy to co-create all your desires and manifest all your dreams.

With this in mind, you may ask, what is telepathy for the Conscious Creative Artist?

Divine Telepathy is the communication of thoughts, feelings, words, or phrases without speech between minds.   Again, it is a gift of the Holy Spirit or Oneness Blessing.  Telepathy can be used to convey feelings between two minds.  For example, you can communicate a feeling of love in your artwork, creative work, or artistic expression.  This is what we are experiencing when we say that a painting or song or book “speaks to me or speaks to my heart.”

Such expressions as this work “speaks to my heart” indicates that our artistic work, creativity, and art does in fact have telepathic energy.  Therefore, it is vitally important that we become conscious creative artists as we utilize our gifts and talents in artistic expression.

Furthermore, as we use our gifts and talents in artistic expression to convey a message of enlightenment, we are sages.  A sage is a wise woman or a wise man.  Using our gifts and talents in artistic expression to telepathically convey a message of wisdom is the Great Work and this is the concern of the conscious creative artist—the Great Work.

So the next time you write a poem, paint a painting, compose a song, write an article, draw a picture, play an instrument, play a role, interpret a piece of prose, or even knit a sweater, think about what you want the next person to feel or think when they read the poem, see the painting, read the article, see the picture, hear the instrument, witness the character you play, witness your interpretation of the story, or wear your sweater.  What are you telling them?  Have you set forth your deliberate intent with purpose?

….A sage would! A sage would know his or her message and move forward in bravery and courage to share that message.  The Conscious Creative Artists are the New Sages in our society.  It is time we use our endowment of telepathy, intuition, insight, foresight, empathy, and charisma to convey messages of wisdom, peace and love.  The path of the Sage is simple.  The Sage is dedicated to the Great work.  The Sage is dedicated to the spiritual evolution, expansion, and growth of God in man and as man.

Until next time, remember to live well, live wise, live wealthy, and let the Creative Spirit move you.

The Tao Te Ching Reveals the Conscious Creative Artist as The New Sages

Written on August 10th, 2009 by Carmellita_Brown2 shouts

“Therefore the sage manages affairs without doing anything, and
conveys his instructions without the use of speech.”

It is our firm belief at Blue Lotus Living that the new sages of our age are the conscious creative artists.  We have conscious creative artists who can share and teach more about spirituality in more receptive ways than many ministers and gurus have ever been open to.

There are conscious creative artists who use the power of inspiration, channeling, and divine telepathy to convey spiritual messages.  Through their artistic work, the artist is able to impact the lives of others in profound and long-lasting ways.

Are there artists who use their gift to telepathically convey messages that are not for the highest good?  There certainly are.  And as you can see, I am not referring to these artists as conscious creative artists.  There are those artists in our world who convey destructive messages with definitive intentions and there are those artists who convey destructive messages without intentions. Either way, these destructive messages are magnetic and draw destructiveness into the life of the artist who has conveyed such messages.

Those who are familiar with the law of attraction understand that this is law and as the Kybalion states “nothing escapes the law.”   All messages from artistic work are magnetic and draw energies together by way of the Law of Attraction and the Law of Vibration together.  Therefore, it should be the aim of the artist to become a conscious creative artist.  With this as a goal and intention, the art work of the artist will consciously convey a message of enlightenment.

Accordingly, this makes the conscious creative artist a channel for empowerment and inspiration.  And this is what a sage does.  A sage encourages with wisdom and motivates with inspiration.  For this reason, it is inevitable that the conscious creative artists in our society are the new sages.

As the new sages, conscious creative artists communicate without the use of speech.  Yes, even in performance art, as conscious creative artists we use the gift of telepathy to communicate something greater, something higher than ourselves.  And with the gift of psychokinesis, we speak to our work blessing it with a specific vibration (whether it is intentionally or unintentionally) which inspires others to inspire others—yes our work will “move” others.

Thus, as conscious creative artists, our creative expression, art, and artistic work come from our Soul and the essence of our true and authentic self which is our being in God.  Our artistic work and creative expression exemplifies our growth on the path of enlightenment and demonstrates that we have surpassed the lowliness of the ego in order to reach a higher place within ourselves.

On Spiritual Cording and How it Affects Artists and Entrepreneurs

Written on August 6th, 2009 by Carmellita_Brownno shouts

Roslyn has written an excellent blog post on Spiritual Cording and as we often do, I would like this post to supplement her blog post entitled Spiritual Cording, Celebrity Drug Addiction, & The Loss Of Our Icon

I am a strong believer that no one can create in your reality but you; however there is exception to this rule, so to speak. The universal and spiritual law which governs “co-creation” is the Law of Manifestation. The law of manifestation contends that whatever our minds hold as thought “consciously or unconsciously” will manifest in our reality.”

To this effect, it is necessary for us to understand that if we choose to operate in “default” or if we choose not to “co-create,” then we are choosing to be victims of circumstance. In default, we are manifesting from our “unconscious” thoughts. In co-creation, we are partnering with the well-being and harmony of the universe and consciously manifesting from a place of peace, harmony, and unconditional love. Ultimately, when we are in “default” and choose not to co-create, what we have done is given our “power to will” over to someone else or someone else’s situation.

This “unwillingness” to co-create our reality in partnership with our loving and abundant universe is what makes us easy victims and easy targets for Spiritual Cording. I love that Roslyn used the phrase “susceptible” to describe it.

Both Roslyn and I have coached many artists and entrepreneurs over the years in success coaching and holistic life coaching. We have emphasized to them that as artists and entrepreneurs you are often given the gifts of empathy and intuition at a very high level. As artists and entrepreneurs, we are often very sensitive to our environment and the energy that is around us.

Accordingly, it is very important that entrepreneurs and artists consciously co-create their reality. Why is it so vitally important? It is vitally important that entrepreneurs and artist consciously co-create their reality with our loving and abundant universe because of their high levels of intuition and empathy. Without allowing the harmony and well-being of the universe to flow unrestrictedly in our lives, empathy becomes co-dependency and intuition becomes inner-conflict.

In a co-dependent state, an artist or entrepreneur will find themselves addicted to substances, trauma, and unhealthy relationships. In a state of inner-conflict, an artist or entrepreneur will find themselves unable to let go of the illusions and fetters of the ego. In both states, the artist and entrepreneur is susceptible to Spiritual Cording and manipulation by others.

Roslyn mentioned the very famous artist and entrepreneur Michael Jackson in her blog post. She also mentioned very the very famous artist Heath Ledger. Here, in both cases we can see how the inner-conflict and co-dependency led to their death and demise.

Artists, Scientists, and Entrepreneurs must be conscious co-creators. It is as necessary as using the creative energy that is flowing through us daily. It is for this very reason that we created Blue Lotus Living. We created this community so that the artist, scientist, and entrepreneur will know how to co-create their reality in partnership with our loving and abundant universe.

I surely don’t want to grieve the tragic death of another artist. I don’t want to see talents and gifts wasted.

With this in mind, I must say here with conviction that our commitment as artists and entrepreneurs begins with the first commandment of enlightenment, “Know thyself.” To know and be committed to the conscious spiritual evolution of our true and authentic self is the least selfish thing we can do. It is the only way we can truly experience personal development while experiencing the flow of well-being and harmony from our loving and abundant universe.

To “Know thyself” is the key to ending all co-dependency and inner-conflicts and reaching transcendence, Nirvana, Peace beyond all understanding, and true self-gratification. I hope we all experience that place within us and realize it is not outside of ourselves. It is when we reach this place of inner-peace that we are able to repel the energies associated with Spiritual Cording.

Yes, to Know thyself is the mystery of all mysteries. The inner depths of our being and the gloriousness of our true and authentic self (who we really are) is a mighty and wondrous adventure—it is the best high you will ever experience.

Until next time…Remember to Live Well, Live Wise, Live Wealthy, and Let the Creative Spirit Move You.

Flashbacks on Bulldozing My Way to Success – I Wasn’t Always on the Path of Enlightenment

Written on July 24th, 2009 by Carmellita_Brownno shouts

You know, I wasn’t always on the path of enlightenment.  As a teacher, conscious creative artist, intuitive, and visionary, I know it is important to share insight into my success and failures.  It doesn’t make us any less enlightened to admit that we have had failures in the past.

Now, on the path of enlightenment, we don’t have failures—we only have opportunities to take inspired action and either we take that inspired action or we don’t.  Before embarking on the path of enlightenment, we didn’t have the Law of Grace on our side to sustain us and direct us through negativity, non-productivity, anger, confusion, fear, and complacency.  In other words, because we are no longer focused on the Ego-trip and now focusing on awareness, the true and authentic self, creativity, and unconditional love, we have the power of Grace working for us.

With this in mind, let me get back to my flashbacks of faltering.  I remember how competitive I used to get when I wanted something.  Specifically when it had to do with status or anything I felt I had a “right to.”  No, it was not a winner’s continuity I had, that would be deemed a positive thing.  Instead, it was more like a bulldozer or pitbull’s continuity.

During those unenlightened days, I would literally “run your ass over,” if you stood between me and something I wanted.  And to be honest, I would do it with a smile.  It was not a good way to live and ultimately whatever “I got”, I was bored with shortly thereafter.

As I have now grown on the path of enlightenment and my soul looks back and wonder, I understand why I got so easily bored.  The things that I was so competitive about were not my true desires, but instead, they were temporary soothers for my burning desire.

Yes, can I tell you that a true desire unrealized will become a burning desire that cannot be quenched by temporary soothers?  My burning desire to be creative and help others discover their creativity, brilliance, beauty, and true self was a desire that could not be quenched by excelling in the corporate world or excelling in the non-profit corporate world—neither appealed to my soul.

When I let go of the ego and turned my focus to my inner-being, the greatness that I was searching for outside of myself…well, I found it within my true and authentic self. Now with the Law of Grace working with me as I co-create my reality that fear, confusion, and anger that was driving me to bulldoze my way to success has changed.

Today, I am a person who knows how to love my way to success.  Today I am a person who knows how to create my way to success.  Yes, I guess you can say, “I’m a lover, not a fighter.”
